Enjoy The High Speed Internet Connection With Fibre Optic Broadband

High speed broadband

The download speed of fibre optic is 50Mbps and this may enhance in the future to 200Mbps or even more depending on the technological advancement.

The fibre optic broadband is the ultimate choice of people, who wants to enjoy the internet connection with maximum speed. The download speed of fibre optic is 50Mbps and this may enhance in the future to 200Mbps or even more depending on the technological advancement. In this method information is sent in the form of light through glass fibres, which is very much faster and highly reliable when compared to types of broadband. The fibre optic broadband is more consistent, so one can avail the maximum speed at anyplace. Unlike the other alternative broadband the signal remains the same at all distance. The user gets the maximum speed, which is advertised by the service provider even few miles away from the telephone exchange.

Consistent internet connection

The fibre optic broadband works by sending the information in the form of light pulses through optic fibre cable. When comparing to ADSL broadband system, the interference problems are less in fibre optics. It maintains the signal strength over long distance and it provides faster internet connection with greater bandwidth. It operates in high frequency range, so it offer internet connect with greater bandwidth. The fibre optics reaches the customer through underground cables, so it will get damaged with wind, rain, sleet and other natural calamities. The fibre optic broadband user will never face the connection problems and unbroken internet service is assured at all time.

Different configurations

All fibre optics is not same and customer receives the broadband service as a mixture of copper wire and fibre optic. The three different configurations in fibre optic broadband are FTTP, FTTC and FTTH. The fibre optic cable is laid only up to the street and further connection is provided through copper wires in FTTC that is Fibre-To-The-Cabinet. In the FTTP, the fibre cable is extended up to the building, but copper wires are used to deliver signal between individual apartments. FTTH (Fibre-To-The-House) denotes that the fibre optics cable is used from the exchange to the user’s room. FTTP and FTTH connections are highly recommended for fast connections and the FTTC is slightly slow, but FTTC connection is widely used around the world.

Availing fibre optics services

Many concern more about the monthly cost rather than their speed and internet consistency. The fibre optic broadband is very much affordable and the cost is more equivalent to the traditional internet providers. The days are gone, where people needs to pay high charges for high speed with the introduction optic fibres. The fast internet broadband opens up the various features of internet and the user need not spend hours of time in fort of PC to download or refresh. Nowadays, many broadband users are switching to fibre optics and numerous new connections are made every day. The fibre optic broadband usage is high in rural areas, because network installation is already available. Only few people are connected with fibre optics in rural areas, because laying fibre cables in countryside is really expensive. Enjoy the difference in accessing the internet through high speed connection by switching to the fibre optics broadband.

I’m lucky enough to enjoy fiber optic broadband service where I live and I’m loving it! My provider is Surewest and the signal is fast and reliable. Right now they only have it in Sacramento and Kansas City, but perhaps in the future, they will expand. Good TV service as well.
