Plusnet Announced New Broadband Deals

Plusnet, a dynamic UK broadband provider, is ready to take on their competition in the UK broadband market. The company recently announced its Plusnet Essentials broadband bundle that is currently priced at a very low rate of just £2.99 a month for a span of 12 months. That’s half the price of their existing broadband offerings.

New subscribers to the Essentials bundle are offered a download speed of 16Mb maximum with 10Gb worth of monthly usage. However, the fine print of this broadband bundle is the fact that subscribers also need to pay for the Plusnet line rental for home phones. This will cost subscribers an additional £13.99 to their plan.

If users want to save on the rental plan though, Plusnet also offers the Line Rental Saver package that encourages subscribers to pay the line rental fees annually which is worth £125.88. That means subscribers will only have to pay £10.49 each month for line rental, not the £13.99 rate for those who choose to pay for the rental on a monthly basis.

The new subscribers of the Essentials bundle will enjoy other perks and freebies to go with their plan as well. For starters, Plusnet will be installing the latest model of a 4-port Wireless N router in every home, a value that is worth £40. New subscribers are also given access to a 24-7 support from the company’s most respected group of customer service associates.

Aside from those, new Plusnet Essential subscribers are also given an unmetered overnight usage. From midnight until 8am, surfers are free to access the internet without reducing their monthly usage allowance. That’s how Plusnet provides for an unlimited service to their new subscribers.

The other perk that comes with this new deal is the free McAfee-powered security package, which is valid during the subscriber’s first three months. After that, they are free to continue with it at an additional fee of £2 per month or stop the service altogether.
