ADSL Internet Market Share Plummets in South Africa

According to Effective Measure’s demographic statistics for November 2013, the percentage of people using ADSL Internet in South Africa has plummeted to over 10% over the last year.

The 2013 demographics report shows that 42% of South Africa’s Internet users access the Internet using an ADSL connection. This is down from 51% a year ago.

The biggest technology gain was from wireless networks, including Wi-Fi, which jumped from 28% to 34%.
