The latest broadband tariff benchmark report by Point Topic revealed that South Africa’s broadband services are expensive and slow when compared to global standards.
By comparing the average monthly broadband tariffs for standalone residential broadband services in 90 countries, Point Topic has discover that France and Romania lead the way, while Bolivia and Peru bring up the rear.
According to the report, South Africa is ranked as one of the most expensive countries – more expensive than countries like New Zealand, India and Albania.
