PT Indosat has launched a Universal Mobile Telecommunications System (UMTS) 900 megahertz network to cater to the rising needs for faster internet connection in Bali.
With the brand Super Internet, the network offers better connection with a speed of up to 42 megabytes per second (MBps), providing a good internet experience for customers with a stronger signal for both indoor and outdoor use, as well as wider coverage.
Indosat is the first telecommunication operator in Indonesia to obtain a license to operate on the 900 MHz frequency, thus is the only company able to apply this latest technology.
The service is set to be commercially launched in Bali today.
eServGlobal has won a strategic deal to supply Indonesian mobile network operator Indosat with its PayMobile platform. This will enable Indosat to provide voucher recharge for its subscriber base of more than 50 million users.
