U Mobile Kick Off 4G LTE Service in Malaysia

Malaysia’s fourth largest mobile network operators, U Mobile announced today, Tuesday, December 17th, that it has launched its 4G Long Term Evolution (LTE) services to all U Mobile users to allow mobile phone users to reach 75Mbps high-speed mobile Internet.

U Mobile chief operating officer, pointed out that the LTE plans will be available for prepaid users as well and the plans on offer cover a wide customer base giving you some very affordable and practical options.

He added that the coverage of the first phase will be in the Klang Valley area, including Bandar Sunway, Subang Jaya, Puchong and Berjaya Times Square, and Taman Molek in Johor Bahru, but does not rule out expansion of network coverage.

In conjunction with the LTE launch, U Mobile is offering the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 for RM999 if you sign up for the Ultimate Device 158 plan with a commitment fee of RM120 per month for 24 months. The offer starts from today to January 31st, 2014. Signing up is easy – all it takes is one SMS. No change of plan, no SIM card change required and no additional subscription fee needed. The company intends to look for other partners in the next year, plans to further expand the mobile network business. The company has brought more contracts, as well as supporting the launch of more new mobile network.
