Huawei Revenues In 2013 Increased By 8%

Huawei is one of the Chinese companies that has grown more especially in mobile market. Their ambitions are big. Just as the major producers of micro-processors for mobile devices, Huawei is also involved in the creation of 64-bit chipset.

In 2013, the Chinese manufacturer had a very successful year and was able to increase its revenue to $39.6 billion, which is 8% higher than the 2012 data.

It is interesting that about 75% of this amount came from the operating telecommunications equipment. Huawei actively invests in the development of new technologies. In particular, in 2013 the company has invested more than $5.4 billion in R&D, and until 2018, Huawei will invest $600 million in the development of 5G-technology.

Operating profit is somewhere between $4.72 and $4.85 billion and net income data for the Chinese manufacturer has not yet appeared. Huawei has already launches its global expansion and in 2012 66% of its revenue came from outside China. This year the Chinese company is expected to popularize its name with new octa-core processor, flagship and mid-range lineups and more Windows Phone handsets.
