TalkTalk has launched a new package deal that includes TV, broadband and calls for £7.50 per month plus line rental.
The Essentials TV bundle comes with a YouView TV box worth worth £149 and unlimited internet, as well as evening and weekend calls.
TalkTalk claims that the package is the UK’s lowest price for TV, internet and calls, allegedly representing savings of up to £190 in comparison to BT’s equivalent deal over 18 months.
TalkTalk to launch ‘super router’?
TalkTalk is reportedly planning to launch a new ‘super router’ that will help the telecoms provider to keep pace with rival offerings from BT, Sky and Virgin Media. With competition for new TV, home phone and broadband customers continuing to increase, TalkTalk appears keen to steal a march on its competitors by harnessing the power of the latest wireless technology.
TalkTalk launches ‘Britain’s cheapest mobile plan’
The £3.50 SIM-only deal includes 100 minutes, 250 texts and 100MB of data. TalkTalk’s SIM-only plans are available on a month-by-month basis with no ongoing commitment, or for a 12-month contract. The move comes as part of the company’s tariff refresh, which also sees TalkTalk Mobile offer unlimited calls and texts for the first time.
