China Mobile has selected Alcatel-Lucent to deploy its 4G LTE network, which will be the largest in the world. The supplier will provide all-IP’s portfolio “EPC” (Evolved Packet Core). It has three platforms, data, mobility and control, and the link between the end user and the scope of mobile communications, which it is likely to want gain access.
Alcatel-Lucent was awarded 24% of the EPC global network of China Mobile and became the first EPC provider for the entire 4G LTE network. In September 2013, China Mobile has already selected Alcatel-Lucent to deploy 11% of its LTE network, or 200,000 base stations TD-LTE by the end of 2013. Technically, Alcatel will provide its 7750 Service Router and Wireless Mobility Solutions Manager and SAM 5620.
