By the end of this year, more airports, commuter routes and towns in the UK will be covered by EE’s growing 4G network. The next stage of its 4G mobile broadband plans has been announced by EE which will bring superfast speeds to cover more urban areas, train routes and airports in the UK.
The ongoing expansion of the operator’s 4G network, which was the first in the country, has been announced alongside a commitment to make sure phone call qualities are also improved.
Meanwhile, EE’s latest results show that nearly 2 million Brits have signed up for superfast 4G. The company’s 4G customer based swelled by 68 per cent in the last three months, taking the total number of customers using the next-gen mobile service to 1.996 million.
