Vodafone has announced the details of its 4G deployment in the coming months. The company remains committed to its data network as a growth in the coming years covering 80% of the population of the main Spanish cities. In total there will be coverage in more than 220 municipalities and 80 Spanish cities with more than 70,000 navigating to 150 megabits speed.
The company also announced that it will strengthen coverage in 12 airports, 10 railway stations, 20 football stadiums and convention centers, sports arenas and etc.
The operator also announced that in the coming months will strengthen its network with LTE-Advanced technology in Madrid and Barcelona with the aim of providing customers with up to 300 megabits speed. Commercial pilots are currently working in the Azca and Nuevos Ministerios in Madrid. By utilizing the band of 1800 MHz and 2600 the company is capable of providing more than 280 megs in real time.
The access to the mobile broadband network will be available in ultrafast rates except voice base. From 11 euros per month (including VAT) customers can browse at full speed. As has been explained the perpetrators company, subscribers can choose from 32 supported devices incorporating into the portfolio equipment like the HTC One M8 silver and Sony Xperia T2 Ultra.
