Orange has launched an aggressive reduction in prices of its “ADSL + calls” offer for customers in Spain. Starting from today, new customers has an opportunity to subscribe for Orange internet and landline phone for only 16.95 euros per month (including VAT) for 12 months. The package of this new services will include Internet broadband of up to 20Mb, unlimited calls to landlines and 1,000 free minutes per month to mobile(LV 20h-8h and 24h weekends).
In addition, the offer includes a standard equipment, at no additional cost, multimedia Livebox router with Wi-Fi n (which provides maximum range and speed than double conventional Wi-Fi), and control parental double call.
After the initial 12 months, the price of the service will be 19.95 euros per month, a reduction of more than 11 euros compared to the usual price. In addition to the ‘ADSL + calls’, the subscribers can subscribe to a new Orange TV offer for 12 euros a month (including VAT).
Orange is the third largest telecommunications group in Spain behind Telefonica and Vodafone. The Spanish subsidiary of the French group closed 2013 with 14.07 million customers, of which about 12.38 million from mobile and 1.7 million from fixed broadband.
Orange has already surpassed the one million customers from its fourth generation mobile services in Spain, just nine months after the launch of the service. With this figure, the company confirms its leadership in the Spanish market for mobile broadband extremely because, after finishing 2013 with 530 000 customers of this technology, Orange has added almost half a million additional customers in the first quarter of 2014.
