AT&T has expanded the nation’s fastest and most reliable 4G LTE network in the Greater New Orleans metro, bringing more customers the latest generation of wireless network technology.
AT&T 4G LTE coverage now includes parts of St. Tammany Parish as well as the seven parishes across the greater Metro area.
Even as AT&T continues to expand its 4G LTE coverage, customers can get 4G speeds outside of 4G LTE areas on our 4G HSPA+ network, unlike some competitors, where smartphone customers may fall back to slower 3G technologies when outside of LTE coverage.
AT&T’s focus to deliver the best possible mobile Internet experience goes beyond 4G to embrace additional connection technologies. AT&T operates the nation’s largest Wi-Fi network including more than 32,000 AT&T Wi-Fi Hot Spots at popular restaurants, hotels, bookstores and retailers, and provides access to more than 402,000 hotspots globally through roaming agreements. Most AT&T smartphone customers get access to our entire national Wi-Fi network at no additional cost, and Wi-Fi usage doesn’t count against customers’ monthly wireless data plans.
Video below will show several of the benefits AT&T 4G LTE provides.
A two-year subscription comes with a free router that can connect up to 10 WiFi devices, but it’ll cost you at least $80 a month for unlimited local calls plus 10GB of data. Ponying up $90 each month nets 20GB of data, while boosting the bill to $120 nabs 30GB.
