ZTE, a leading global manufacturer of mobile devices, today announced it won three awards from the International Data Group (IDG) and the survey firm IDC, recognizing the rapid growth and outstanding performance of ZTE, worldwide. The IDG, the world leader in technology media, events and research, bestowed the “Global Intelligent Interconnection Device Brands Top 10″, the “China Consumer Electronics Brands Top 10″, and the “Global Consumer Electronics Brands Top 50″ medals to ZTE at the International Consumer Electronics Industry Summit & Global Top Brands Awards Ceremony during CES on January 8.
“2013 was a year of extensive development and investment in the mobile Internet, as well as relocation and restructuring in the global smartphone market. We are highlighting ZTE as a leading provider of smartphones especially with good performance,” said Michael Friedenberg, CEO of IDG.

Newer devices from ZTE feature a variety of solutions, including the Grand S II smartphone with cutting edge voice control technology, mobile access point with integrated projector, new smart watch and phablet functionality with dual screen, among others.
